Hi guys,

I was just buying an item through Overclockers, the first time I went to make payment it said my payment had failed and I could either try again or call them up to make payment over the phone.

I tried again and the purchase went through this time, however I've just checked my bank and payment has been taken twice.

This has put me in a really bad position and I'm starting to panic! How can I go about solving this?

call the sales team on today or monday or send in a webnote under the contact us section on the site, they will cancel the second order and refund the duplicate to you.

Try to call though as if the item ships, it will take longer and generally be more hassle to both parties.
 
Thanks I've just sent a webnote as they are closed today.

EDIT - NVM, I thought it was Sunday lol. I'll call them now.

Now I've been told that the 2 payments aren't showing up on there system and I need to call my bank or either send them a screenshot of my bank account which shows 2 payments have gone to OcUK. However, POS don't show up until 4 working days.

I can't believe this...

EDIT - Called my bank and they said it was right for it not to show up on there system. It's automated and just how my bank works, but I'll get a refund on Tuesday.

For future info.....

any failed transaction will still see the funds removed from your account into a "holding account" at the end of the day the company will send a list of all transaction thorough to the bank, then money will move from the holding account into the companys account, any remaining cash (from failed transactions) will go back from whence it came, however this can take from 2-10days depending on your bank
