Overclockers refusing to refund £250

I'm glad it's been sorted, but I'm gutted for you at the same time, if this was your first experience using OCUK, then that is even worse!
Try not to let it get to you, it's completely understandable that this would make you panic/anxious/ill, it's your money, and not everyone has a emergency nest egg, should something go wrong - which is something people forget/take for granted.
I hope you feel better soon.

Second time using them but the order was just over £2500. At least the pc made it in one piece.
I was in hospital getting an infusion yesterday so I’m feeling awful and this just piles up on my being chronically ill

Honestly though kind words go along way so thank you! I’m sure I’ll stay on the forum.

You've clearly outlined what the issue was, and what you needed to know.
This is rather unprofessional, to say the least :(

I got an email yesterday with. PDF confirming refund but still not through yet.

Been on the phone today. Chap was polite listened to me vent. Admitted it was a catalog of errors on their part. Said a member of staff had made errors on the account that someone else tried to cover up but couldn’t tell me what had happened with the refund. Admitted the chap in the warehouse who said my replacement monitor had been shipped was lying as there was no new ticket or order log created.
He apologised which was nice. Said he’d pass it along to a manager to get in touch and explain what’s been going on or see if they can sort something out. I’m highly doubtful anything else will happen or he will be in touch.

The refund is confirmed which I’d say Is a plus but tbh it’s the bare minimum that should have been done. This whole situation has been a crapfest from the start.

I am extremely disappointed with Overclockers

Oh really, what a joke! So that's multiple **** ups now :(

I'd want some kind of partial refund as a gesture of good will TBH, as they've dropped the ball multiple times now :(

I don't blame you. People really need to understand how ill this can make someone, be it anxiety attacks due to financial worries or the thought of being conned. Not everyone has disposable income, so when you save up for ages and barely manage to afford something that you've been looking forward to, or need, the last thing you want is to feel like you've got ****** over!

I hope that you recieve your refund soon mate.

Sounds like they have some amazing people working there if they tried to cover mistakes up rather than just admitting to them.

Yeah, pretty poor to put it politely! And these people are getting paid to be this negligent and now devious covering their tracks!

Did you hear what happened to @MrThompUK ? He has recieved a faulty 5090 full system, and has had a nightmare getting a response and support for it.
