ello,

Does anyone think that overclockers would benefit from having a User account system on their sales website? I think it would be really helpful. features like Order history, changing items on orders, RMA's, Check the status of orders, customer services etc.

I made 2 orders this weekend, i made them seperately because the second order was not planned. if i could have logged onto the OC website and ajusted my order (added the new PSU) that would have saved me the postage again!

anyways whats people thoughts on this, and perhaps we can try and get it implemented. :)

i would suggest leaving the option of not using an account (like it is currently), but for poeple who use OCuk on a regular basis the user account option would be there aswell.

What would be good- and rather easy to implement would be to have the old system still in place, but with the option of creating an account (even if it only stores your address / credit details say). When you come to order you can fill in your details as usual or just key in your username/password which will automatically fill in all the form fields for you.

Well i dont know if its safe or not but Firefox stores all this for me, so whenever i place an order all the details are there ready for me. I was more interested in the Order History and Adjusting orders and other benefits of a Account system.
