Overclockers Shop

Sorry but with every thing that's been on the news an in local papers the last couple of years i would rather have my kids safe and knowing where they are, but that's just me an for a different topic ;)

And you feel can't do that without them being stuck at home on a PC? Poor kids. ;)

Dissapointing to read few wares on display. Would want to see 120hz vs 1440p monitors up close and personal.

Your posts beggar tolerance. You decided to take it upon yourself to offer parental advice to op 'cause he wanted to take his son to a pc shop? Who died and appointed you supernanny? Your own hermit lifestyle/childhood is no basis to call anybody a bad parent for engaging thier kids in a pc hobby.

I didn't call him a bad parent at all, but nice try. ;) Anyway i'll leave in peace, was just saying that PC upgrading and gaming is not the healthiest hobby you can choose for a 12-year old kid. My opinion, nothing more. :)

The last time i went to the shop there wasnt anythink to see just some boards in display case and the staff behind the counter looked fed up. Wanted item said instock on website but was told no stock which wasnt great after traveling 100 mile round trip. After leaving shop went to that all you can eat buffet just up the road but food was terrible so wasnt a great day out.

Depends on what you class as stuck, if my children decide to stay in im fine with that if they want to go out im fine with that.
Judging by some of your comments you either have no children or your one strict parent that likes to spend time with his children when he see's fit or can be bothered.
If you start dictating to children with no valid reason apart from "playing on consoles/pc's is un healthy do you really think they'll take much notice.
You described your youth as a child (12) does that mean your parents were bad as you did what your trying to tell the Op not to do?
Poor kids! ;)

BTW any Op i hope your questions have been answered all goes well m8.
