This is a reminder that having your mobile number in your Overclockers UK shop account can be handy when waiting in for your delivery as you will receive a text of when the order will be delivered to you. So update your shop accounts to get the latest updates on your order with Overclockers UK. :)

Also... Do not forget some of you can get FREE SHIPPING here by being a member of the forum:

Have to say that this is a superb system and from my experience the hour time slot given is always accurate.

DPD have always been my prefered courier because of their accurate delivery windows. It is a shame more companies don't offer this type of facility.

Just wondering where I enter my mobile number......cant seem to find it.

Under your delivery addresses here:

This service is useless tbh my last order had a delivery window of 14:02 - 15:02 delivery turned up at bang on 14:00 absolutely disgusting. /troll

Nah its w great service means you don't need to sit there for hours just waiting and can actually have s life. Another win for OcUK and DPD :)

Quick question re DPD and free shipping

I ordered something on Saturday and have ordered again on Monday with stuff in about 2 hours via "two" deliveries. (I often do this)

I reckon this is costing OCUK extra to ship two items that could have been packed together if I'd let you know. Does it matter? would I get extra haribo if I'd let you know?

It will cost extra, we would rather people make one order, or contact us to amend it rather than making lots of different orders. :)

Great service from DPD, I always put my mobile number in the second line of the address. I've had one or two drivers call me up before instead of instantly 'carding' when I'm not in.

Never had a single problem with them. DHL on the other hand

We always have the same driver in my area, always really nice. He beeps on his way down the street as he doesn't like knocking because of our dog. Never had an issue with the 1 hour time slot either.

If you have any queries, feel free to fire them at me :)
Can you contact the driver who's meant to be at my place around 4:30 and tell him to get a wiggle on. :p

On a more serious note this is another benefit to shopping with OcUK, a competitor used to use the same service (not sure if they still do) but since OcUK started using DPD there's now no reason to go elsewhere.

Unfortunately, DPD also seem to employ drivers who either can't find the address and claim they had or who find the wrong address and won't admit to their mistake. The one hour slot that did not happen on three successive "attempts" means I needed to be in for three days when nothing was delivered, no DPD courier passed the house close to the appointed time nor was a "you were not in" card posted. It is for that reason I have not ordered from OverClockers since, preferring suppliers that use more reliable couriers.

Of course this is just my experience etc.
