Finally, I got to spectate a game and it was the quarter final between CGrieves and Uncle Petey. Great effort by both players and it was an enjoyable game to watch.

Uncle Petey won the game in straight sets. congratulations to him and unlucky to CGrieves.

Only one more quarter final to be played and that's been Ale Bro and Slam. Who will take that last semi final spot? Ale Bro has to be the favourite with his No. 1 ranking, but Slam is the underdog who is getting better every game!!

Will Monday night suit you guys to play your games? First Semi Final from 8 to 9pm, second Semi Final from 9 to 10pm.

You must allow spectators and if you have a way to record the games that would be great.

First Semi Final Over. Ale Bro Vs Borsch. Great game played in good spirits. Ale Bro is the much more experienced player and that showed in the match, winning in straight sets. Borsch had some nice shots, and gave Ale Bro a few scares, with a bit more playing time he will be a very good player.

So Congratulations Ale Bro on making the Final.

MMart94 won the Semi Final against Uncle Petey in straight sets. The Undertaker music would have been very apt.

Uncle Petey just couldn't handle MMart's spin shots. Just like the previous Semi Final, the more experienced player won out.

Just before the Final I just want to thank you all for making this a great competition. It was played in a great spirit and I think everyone who played enjoyed themselves. Any game that I spectated was really good to watch. Some great table tennis and some great banter too. So Well done to everyone.

Final

Unfortunately only two players can compete in the Final and I think it's fair to say that the two best players made it through. MMart94 and Ale Bro will playing for the honour of becoming the first ever OCUK Eleven Table Tennis champion and to claim the prize Kindly donated by OCUK.

Prediction: Having spectated both players in the Semi Finals, it's really difficult to say who will win. Apart from some brief resistance both players eased past their Semi Final matchups. I do feel that Uncle Petey could have given MMart94 a better game but He completely psyched himself out of it. While Ale Bro was very dominant in his win over Borsch. Both players have put in a lot of hours into the game and it shows in their gameplay. But the question everyone is asking is who will take the prize? My prediction is MMart94. I believe they are both equally good in general game play but from the games I spectated MMart94 has the better serve and that gives him a very solid base to start from.

But, it's a Final and my predictions count for nothing. Either player could win, depends on who steps up under pressure. :cool:
