Overclocking 3770K, where do I start?

That would be Ultra High, if that runs stable for say 30mins, should I drop it to high and retest? And should I leave the voltage at 1.190 or look to decrease LLC and increase voltage?

see this article for a brief explanation of LLC and vdroop: https://www.masterslair.com/vdroop-and-load-line-calibration-is-vdroop-really-bad

yes but not quite. you'd want to monitor the voltages as the processor changes state (ie high->low load, and vice versa). you'd want a little LLC as possible to maintain the least amount of voltage spike and drop.
it's these voltage spikes that shortens the life of the CPU, and the voltage drops make your overclock unstable.
depending on your board and chip, it's normally between 50-75% LLC compensation that you'd want.

these are the recommended voltage per frequency. (ignore the temp curve)

try and aim under (looks like you've got a decent chip for 4.4ghz @ 1.19v).
temps are on the higher side/at the limit i'd be comfortable with - but possibly due to a "just about decent" h60 aio, +/- stock paste.

Tried LLC High with 1.190 but it BSOD within minutes, so I’ve upped the voltage and with High it seems to need it to be set to 1.210. So far that’s keeping the temps around 86-88c, vcore currently shows around 1.176.

Forgot to add, CPU fan is set to run 65% speed. Also LLC High is 50%.

Spoke to soon Prime95 closed, so I restarted and a few minutes later I BSOD so now rerunning with 1.190 and LLC 75%.

When I clean the thermal paste think I will also check the CPU fan, think I’m draw air from within the case and through the rad. I’ll look at drawing it in from outside and through the rad.

To adjust for the higher vdroop at 50% LLC, you can increase the offset or boost voltage. I can't remember if the mvg has both, or only one. But if it has both, then only increase one or the other, not both.

Think I have both, will check when I’m I reboot. Want to leave Prime running. Should I aim to bring LLC down at expense of putting footage up, so far CPU seems happy at 4.4Ghz with 1.190 LLC 75%?
