Hi,

Just gone back to ATI for the first time in like 5 years and have no clue with it.

Whats the best tool to get for overclocking these babies?

Use a third party or a the CCC tool?

any nuances or fussyness i should know about this setup?
 
Depends on how serious you want to get. If you're not planning to use any additional voltage, you can just use the CCC overdrive to get a big increase. Mines currently on a core of 1050, with room to go on the slider.

If you want to go for the big burn, then MSI Afterburner is probably best.
