I've been out of the overclocking scene for a few years, but have recently built a new system and would like some help pushing it a bit.

My specs:

Intel E2160
Gigabyte P35C DS3R (Bios F4)
4GB Crucial Ballistix PC2 6400
Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro 7

I've currently got things at 9 x 333MHz, a vcore of 1.376-1.392, although this shows as 6 x 333MHz for some reason, and the memory running at 2:3 and 5-7-7-23, all according to CPU-Z. Ran Orthos for 6 hours, no errors.

According to EasyTune5 Pro, my cpu temps are around the 30 mark idle.

I'm not overfamiliar with the bios, so would appreciate any help.

Cheers.

Do you have speedstep and C1E disabled? I know I have this on my board, and what it does is clock the multiplier back when the CPU power isnt needed. Open up a few CPU intensive programs and see if the multiplier clocks back up on CPU-Z

Cheers mate, CPU-Z is giving out the correct information now.:)

Any other settings that I can try, I know this may be a bit lazy of me, but I'd rather cut out much of the trial and error and try some settings other users have found stable.
