hi guys, ive just built my first pc and would like to overclock the cpu, obviously im new to this. i have read the overclocking for beginners thread but dont know if this is the route to take as i have a cpu with the multiplier unlocked, so do i need to mess with the fsb settings, can anyone suggest how to go about this ie voltage levels, multiplier level, and also ive read i need to disable the core performance boost on my particular chip, im hoping to get 4.0ghz, specs are as follows
AMD Phenom 2 x6 1090t
gigabyte 890fxa ud5 mobo
2x4gb corsair xms3 1333mhz
asus 460gtx direct cu
coolermaster V6GT cpu cooler
