hey guys, this is my first post but been reading around for a while. Hoping some one can give me a little bit of help.
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7
i7 930
Patriot Viper (3x2GB) 1600MHz
2x EVGA GeForce GTX 470 Hydro Copper in sli
Corsair HX 1000W
EK high flow block for the cpu
EK full mother board block
Onto a tipple 120 rad in push/pull
2x470s on its own loop with a quad 120 rad in push pull also.
I thought i had a stable 4ghz over clock but when i boot up in the morning it reverts back to stock after a few failed attempts. Have updated to the latest F7 Bios but it is still the same. If i then restart i can enter my settings again and it boots fine. it is prime stable for 3 hours as that is as long as i have run it.
Also i cant seem to get my over clock above 4ghz with out 1.4 volts? I was flowing a guide and isolated the multiplier from the block, I know its stable with a block of 200 on a 12 multiplier and the ram is also stable at 200x12 so should run fine at 4.2 with the right vcore?
Thanks Aaron,
