Hi
When do you get a higher CPU overclock is it when your RAM speed (mhz) is low or high or does it not make a difference what so ever ?
Because I need to buy new RAM today but i cant decide whenever to get the Corsair vengeance pro or LP (low profile)

Thank you

Very high ramspeed might actually limit overclocking a bit if you are running haswell, which I doubt you are. That's why you OC the CPU first in modern Intels at least.

So yeah, system specs please.

In todays systems it does not make any real difference.

What is your system spec?

My system specs are :
Asus z87 A
intel i5 4670k
corsair cx750m
WD blue 1TB
Asus dvd drive 24x
and i ordered corsair vengeance LP today 1600mhz 8GB

To be honest you'll be just fine with that RAM.

Just overclock your CPU just like you would normally; multiplier is the king (CPU speed), and then uncore if you care. Look for a guide for asus haswell overclocking.

RAM tuning isn't needed unless you bench.
