Overclocking Database

i know i had thought about this before, didnt really go too well.

i know the likes of www.overclockers.com had a similar database to what i have created now. a database that can be updated as and when by anyone. how about we give this a go? if the interest isnt there then no hard feelings.

i know it will take a while to get errors ironed out but ill do my best to maintain the database.

the entries do not have to be stable. if there needs to be more info included go ahead and post them up

One small thing,

there is nothing to prove that people get the overclock so no major point in it.

People Lie about OCs to get a big epenis. you need Screenies really with aset test period.

Like we discussed m8 the one problem with allowing users to enter what they like is that theres always some, namely newer visitors, that will abuse it and enter whatever details they like making the whole thing pointless.

This is why I have set up the 2 databases (superPI and Prime) as these prove at least some form of stability and require the user to actually prove there overclock rather than relying on trust alone.

It is a very handy utility (I'm using it!) but something like this requires it to be private(like mine) or at the very least administratored frequently which if you're the one to administrator it you may as well keep it private and update it yourself anyway..

just one thing, you should be able to choose to put your oc under the right processor, now i had to put my E6750 with the q6600

We need some one to create thier own web app, and maintain it. My old tables took a LOT of maintenance and thats why I strongly advise against manual input. The powers that be wouldn't agree to the use of HWbot, which would be far the best solution. Maybe now Spie is spending more time on the forums he can revisit this subject. All these manual tables (as apeciated as they are) really do the forum an injustice. Forcing people to use other forums to be part of a team.
