Overclocking e6600 on Gigabyte 965P-DS3P 3.3 - problems

That is probably your problem. I had exactly the same thing on my DQ6, it wouldn't boot at over about 300ish MHz. Took me ages of playing and when I set that to standard it all worked fine! :)

Think I've already tried to boot with this set to Standard and it still didn't work.
This is really strange, could any of my PCI cards (Netgear 311T Wireless + Audigy XFi) be causing problems?
Other than that, maybe my motherboard is faulty?
I can't even boot with a small increase in FSB, seems enabling CPU Clock Control and setting DRAM timing to Manual just makes the board reboot to default settings.

OK - 22 passes on Memtest86+ with no errors, so I'm assuming the memory is OK.
Tried all the recommended settings from this post and cannot get the board to boot under any settings accept stock.
When the CPU Clock Control is set to Enable even at stock 266 speed, board will not boot. Will only boot with this set to Disable.
Do you think that my motherboard is faulty?

OK - finally got my board to overclock. Switching off the Legacy USB setting in the BIOS seemed to do the trick! :)
Now running at:-

CPU Voltage 1.375v
FSB Overvoltage +0.1v
MCH Overvoltage +0.1v
PCI Express Freq 101
FSB 334Mhz
CPU Multipier x9
RAM Divider 2.5
DDR2 Overvoltage +0.30v
DRAM settings 4-4-4-12

According to Speedfan, CPU core temps are currently 31 & 28c idle. Does this sound OK?
Gonna run the SP2004 overnight to check for stability :D

that 101 has been posted before somewhere cant tell you why but i have set mine to it and it clocks fine so ill leave at it

Got mine set to 105 and it's fine. There were some posts in the DS3/4 thread about the F5 bios making peoples previously stable overclocks unstable which made me stick to the F4. Temps seem fine.
