hi i loeked in the bios wow its a bit confusing is there somewhere whwere i could just copy the settings from and put them in the corresponding areas thanks chris
Mate honestly if you are a complete noob I would do a lot of reading up on overclocking. All cpu's are different so one persons settings may not work for your chip and you could fry the chip or have big problems. Go over to DFI Street forums they have a very good guide that tells you what all those options in the BIOS are and what process to employ to overclock your cpu. It is worth taking it slowly and in stages so start with a small overclock of 5-10mhz and follow the guide and ask here if you have any questions. You will also need to download a few programs to help you which are mentioned in that guide.
If you can't be bothered to go and research overclocking then I really would advise you not to even try. If done right you can get a good overclock, done bad and say good by to your CPU and also your windows installation if you corrupt the HDD which is possible.
