Overclocking Gigabyte ex58-ud5?

Hi,

This is my first time at overclocking, I have got my i7 at 160.00 x 20.00 at 3.2ghz. I have disabled intel turbo boost, but when I am not doing anything it still goes down to 1.9ghz according to realtemp.

Any ideas? Thanks

Thats becuase of intel speedstep, its a power saving feature, if u don't want it on, turn it off in the bios, will either be called speedstep, or EIST.
