Does it actually make it any better?

Ive got a GeForce GTX 570, default at 732Mhz & 1900Mhz but I dont really see much difference from how it was @ stock, compared to how I have it now @ 810Mhz & 2010Mhz.

Ive been playing Deus Ex and it seems just as smooth as it was before I overclocked it, but if anything, known again the game will jerk for a split second and if anything it does that a little more often now that its overclocked.
Also on cutscenes, something weird has started to happen.. Not sure if it was doing this before hand and I just didnt notice it, but now on cut scenes.. its as though when a certain clip has finishes, the cutscene will like "shake" and play the last second of that clip its just played.. like repeats it... weird

My main question is basically,

With me Overclocking my GeForce GTX 570 is it at all possible for performance in games and in general to decrease?

I'd like to ask the same question about my Processor too, Intel Core i5 2500k

Which Ive overclocked to 4.2Ghz which Im happy with and runs stable and nice temps.

Thanks

No Overclocking.

Only CPU Overclocked

Only GPU Overclocked

CPU & GPU Overclocked

Physics and Combined score is higher when only the GPU is overclocked, those scores are lower when the CPU & GPU are overclocked together.

Weiiiirrrrrrd.

800Mhz Core Clock and 2000Mhz Mem Clock are the graphic card speeds im sticking with. Increasing or Decreasing each speed by 10 each time.
So 810 / 2010, 820 / 2020 etc.
CPU is at 4.2Ghz

Are these values OK? I know the CPU is fine but the GPU Im wondering about.
Is 800/2000 good or is there some rule I should know about when overclocking GPU's.
Like is there a prefered memory clock depending on what the core clock is set as?

what should I test the GPU with mate?

Ive used IntelBurnTest and that said the CPU is stable, havent really done any GPU testing other than 3D Mark and playing games..

Could voltage have anything to do with it?
If you know the way the voltage works on my motherboard, its dynamic voltage and Ive set it too -150

Thats minus 150

Thats the lowest it works stable at

Just installed OCCT, never seen this before, just want to ask before I do anything that could harm my computer

I see CPU: OCCT, CPU: LINPACK, GPU: OCCT, GPU: MEMTEST

Do I just click on GPU: OCCT and then click the green button? Or should I be changing any settings

Also is this OCCT the mem test you meant to use aswel, or something else?

So

1. CPU testing - Prime95 with Small FFT for 1 hour.
2. GPU Testing - GPU: OCCT for half hour? What Settings?
3. Mem Testing - ????? Memory Ram or GPU Memory ?
