Hi Forum,

Been searching since yesterday for an easy to follow overclocking
guide,

Reason Im asking Ive alway used ASUS OC software like Turbo V and the CPU level up on my MAximus EXtreme iv P67 and Maximus formula three

But the P6X58D has turbo v software but its not automatic,So im not wanting to touch anything,

THis will be my first time actually doing a BIOS overclock instead of software based,

I have a H70 corsair cooler and HAF-x cases with 1000watt psu and 6 gb of corsair dominator 1600

Thanks

Taken from another forum.

IOH Voltage – Voltage of the North Bridge or NB, this helps with overclocking the QPI frequency

IOH PCIE Voltage – Auto

ICH Voltage – This is the voltage of the south bridge, which controls the HDD’s
You can leave this set to AUTO

ICH PCIE Voltage – Auto

On my own 920, im running the following.

IOH, 1.200V
IOH PCIE, auto
ICH, 1.200V
ICH PCIE, auto.

The two main voltage settings that require the most tweaking are vcore and qpi/dram voltage.
