Overclocking Help

hey i had my pc overclocked and while playing stalker it crashed went off and wudnt reboot, so cleared cmos, and started to overclock again but once it was out of bios it wouldnt boot, but i noticed one major difference while playing stalker with my cpu running at 3.0ghz and ram running at 800 ghz, it runs smoother with it at 2.1ghz, and stock 533 mhz ram any ideas at 3.0 ghz it was really stuttery and laggy.

also it boots fine now didnt clear cmos properly

What temperatures were you getting under load? Sounds like its overheating when overclocked, and thermal throttling is kicking in.

Well those temps seem fine. Have you tested if the overclock is Orthos stable?

i have tested for about a hour and it seemed stable how far should i go with the ram and what voltage is maximum ? i had it at 2.025v

although i will be buying it
