well first of all guys i want to say thanks to everyone who helped me purchase a h80 from overclockers it blows my old air coolers away i know its a old cpu cooler but dam im idling at 22c and max temps while playing bf4 high settings for 4 hours straight max temps 40c went with the strike x gt case have 5 coolmaster sickleflow fans as stock ones were too loud ,anyway to the point now i have sufficient cooling id like to get my i5 2500k off stock speed and up to 4.0ghz if you think thats possible for everyday gaming /use also can i just set the multplier to 40 and leave everything else auto

8gb g skill ripjaw 1600mhz
gtx660ti asus
i5 2500k
strike x gt case -cool has hell mobo sits @17-18c
seagate 1tb hybrid ssd

My son runs his 2500k @ 4.5 with the h80

But you will need to play with vcore for that

For 4.0Ghz then just up multi and try it leaving everything auto should be ok with stock volts
 
ok went into bios and set the c1e to enable i now see in cpuz the cpu speed flashing between 1.6 and .4.0 is that right i see core voltage going over 1.00 though and cpu says 95w
