I have the following.....

Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 PRO TwinX (2x1GB)4-4-4-12
Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB)
Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Ati Radeon x1900 xtx 512 G. card.
Thermaltake purepower 680w power supply.
At the moment everything is running on default in the bios.

I wish to run the CPU at 3.2 and get the best out of my memory(but stable)
I have never overclocked before, so im a bit nervous.
So if any of you guys have the time for a noob, could you please make a list of what i need to change and to what to in the bios(1602)version bios update.
Thanks :o

Not gonna give you bios settings in a list, then you don't learn :)

CPU's default multi is 9, so you need 355 FSB to get your 3.2ghz.
Choices are - run memory at tighter timings 1:1 with FSB or run memroy on a divider.
Running on a divider will put you over the stock rated speeds for the ram but should be the best option.
Make sure timings are manually set as per SPD, and give the ram 2.1 or so volts and it should be fine.

cheers guys...sorry for the long wait to reply, i was at work.
Ive got 3 days off from tuesday, so ill give it a go then!!!
Wish me luck and my hands are not shaking...YET!!!! :D

Does running memory on a divider at a faster rate actually have any performance benefit if the FSB is running slower?
