Overclocking Memory

I have Corsair Vengeance PC-12800 DDR3 ram sticks (2x 4GB). On the BIOS it shows they are only on 1200mhz so I enabled the X.M.P option which got me up to the "stated" 1600Mhz.

I tried changing the clock on it to 2133, but my computer just beeped. I tried going down to 1866Mhz and I have booted into windows successfully.

What is the best way to check the Ram is running at this speed and to test it for stability?

cpuz will show the ram speed remeber its double date ram so you will have to times the mhz by 2. If you want to overclock further then you may have to enter the ram values and voltage manually.

I play a game that usually shows up any errors.
