overclocking my 7900 GTO Just got a basic ?

Hi there I will keep this short a freind of mine overclocked my 7900 GTO for me which was cool.. I have recently had to reinstall windows so as you will no I have lost all the overclock settings.

now to get straight to the point when he overclocked my PC he sent me this part in the email "Graphics card is clocked at 685/1674, (faster than stock 7900GTX)"

Ok I have installed coolbits and I am now at the overclocking page with 2 options.

memory clock frequency >>>>>>>>>660

3D clock frequency >>>>>>>>>>>>>650

Now If I want to go back to the same settings as B4 which was 685/1674. Do I just move the memory clock frequency to 685 and not have to mess with the 3D clock frequency ??

Just a bit confused to what this exactly 685/1674 means

New drivers show the memory speed as the DDR speed (which is half the actual speed shown by the earlier drivers).

So set 3d Clock Frequency back to 685 and Memory Frequency to 837 :)
 
The memory on the card is DDR2 and so 1674 is a memory CLOCK of 837.

SO you want to set your card at 685/837 on the sliders.
 
Ok you have told me to set my Memory Frequency to 837 but the slider will only go as far as 800MHz ?

should I do a driver upgrade or somethen ?

or unless I need to apply the setting the opersite way round ?
 
i would't go overclocking any nvidia 7900 since they die @ stock never mind overclocked iam on my second 7900GTO

1st one died after 2 days @ stock running 3dmark 2006 a couple of times.

Funny, my 7900GTO hasn't and my 7900GT worked fine for about 5 months (Until the fan broke while I was out and it overheated ;) )
