Well after finding out that XMP will pretty much destroy my nice 4Ghz CPU overclock i've decided to manually OC the speeds. Now i've never overclocked my ram before and I need some questions answering.
Firstly lets get the story out of the way. I had 3GB of some lovely OCZ TRIPLE CHANNEL memory clocked at 1866Mhz (Factory OC) with voltage of 1.65v and a 9-9-9-28 Latency.
I just bought some new ram again Triple Channel OCZ kit this time its 1600Mhz but has the same low voltage at 1.65v but the lantency is 9-9-9-24 instead of 28.
(Here are the links)(ADMIN READ THIS: Please dont delete my old ram link as it has been discontinued and this was the only site I could find the specs of it).

NEW RAM: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-179-OC
The best Bit:
Ok so here are the questions I'd like answering.
1. Should I OC with both sets of ram in the sockets or just oc the new ram to the same speeds as the old ram before inserting the old ram into the mobo?
2. will I need to change the latency from 9-9-9-24 to 9-9-9-28?
3. Will I need to boost the voltage of the new ram or will it be safe just tweaking the speeds without a voltage boost?
thanks for reading
