Hey dudes

Really quick one here, I have just noticed that in my bios, all voltages are set to "Auto". Is this bad for overclocking or is it actually a good think?

Thanks

Normally not a good idea as a lot of boards set them way higher than necessary. Asus for one are notorious for it. Manual is the way to go IMHO

I believe I read somewhere that my CPU voltage for my Q6600 should be the same as the VID shown in Core Temp. So as that says 1.300V, should I try to manually set 1.3V off the bat?

Also, My RAM in CPUID says it should be 1.8V, should I manually set this to 1.8V too?

Humm...the voltage options confuse me in my BIOS. In previous motherboards its always shown thea actual voltage, but on this one its +0.025, +0.050 and so on. However there is no +0.000 if that makes sense? There is only + or - figures...

That all goes fro RAM and everything too.
