Overclocking problem

Hi guys i have a i7 920 and a gigabite x58-udr3,i try to overclock my cpu but when i do the computer boots for around 5 seconds and shuts down,sorry guys i am new to overclocking,i have a cpu cooler and i cant figure out the problem,i am guessing that it maybe my RAM setting,i have my ram set to 8,8,8,24 in bios and it still wont boot,any help would be great,thanks all

Try

CPU Multiplier to 20
QPI Frequency 190
Change DRAM Frequency to closely match as possible your DRAM rated frequency 1600mhz
Set your timings to 9-9-9-28 as shown in your link
Try 1.275V for CPU Voltage (might need to up this to 1.3v or higher for stable OC)
1.9v for CPU PLL Voltage
Try 1.64V (or 1.65V) for your RAM
Disable CPU Spread Spectrum and PCI E Spread Spectrum
