overclocking problem!!!

i just tried to overclock my pc to 4.5 and it didnt like it just blues screened straight away so i reset it back to how i had it before. and it now it just blue screens all the time i have tried to reset cmos at still no hope.
help please?????

editt:: worked out with it wasnt loading when i reset the bios it change the AHCI mode bk to IDE so SSD wont start up.

currently got it on the oc genie at 4.2.

how do i oveclock it to about 4.5. on a msi z68 g45 board

got it workin agian think i did something wrong on the overclock.

is 4.6 at 1.38volts ok? edit < didnt like that

had it at 4.7 at 1.45v and seamed to be ok. ran prime for over a hour with no faults, changed the voltage down and didnt like it so put it back and didnt like it. bk down to 4.5 at 1.38 hopeing it'll be ok. and also read it wasnt safe to go over 1.38v
