try reseting default option in bios and reboot see if it works @ stock speed/settings then just try same overclock you had b4 the 4.5 if all works

not 100% with that bios but just change multi - 45,vcore fixed/manual 1.30,leave rest on auto also check that you ram settings are ok after the cmos reset

Edit 1.3 will be 2 low my bad for reading on IB chips try Vcore 1.37

is 4.6 at 1.38volts ok? edit < didnt like that :(

had it at 4.7 at 1.45v and seamed to be ok. ran prime for over a hour with no faults, changed the voltage down and didnt like it so put it back and didnt like it. bk down to 4.5 at 1.38 hopeing it'll be ok. and also read it wasnt safe to go over 1.38v

Really wouldn't be pushing 1.45v through the chip tbh. 1hr prime isn't really a stability test though, 24hrs -48hrs for me, 8hrs for impatient people (has failed well over 8hrs in many instances, not many after 24hrs).

i need 1.38/9 volts for a 4.8/9 overclock

***OVERCLOCKING GUIDELINES***

- Do not exceed 1.425v core voltage, doing so could limit lifespan of the CPU
- Aim to keep temperatures below 70c underload if at all possible
- Do not overclock with BCLK, again doing so could limit lifespan of the CPU
- Recommended memory voltage is 1.50v, so make sure to run your memory at 1.50v, higher than 1.60v could limit lifespan of the CPU
- These recommendations come from OcUK and Intel, your warranty is un-affected but we highly recommend you adhere to the above to make sure your CPU lifespan is un-affected
- All Sandybridge CPU's worldwide should be run at the above or lower voltages, no higher!
