I'm a little confused. It's the first time i've tried overclocking. I believe i've set the FSB to 400 and the multiplier to 7. But everytime i run CPU-Z it says the multiplier is 6, no matter what value i set it too.

I can change the FSB no problem but the multiplier never seems to change from 6. Any help please?

Edit: Also i have set the ram in bios to be 4-4-4-12 but CPU-Z keeps showing as 32-5-2-12

If you are new to overclocking i hope you haven't jumped from stock straight to 400FSB, as that is quite a jump and the inexperienced really should go through the normal steps of incrementing a few MHz, testing, rinse and repeat.

Jumping straight to your preferred overclock could cause problems if you aren't 100% sure of what you are doing
