I've already overclocked my e7400 to 3.7GHz [a bit of an old cpu I know] and I'm looking to eek a few extra mhz out of it before I look into upgrading to a new cpu/mobo.
Currently I'm supplying 1.4v to the cpu yet with vdrop it's 1.36v. The current o/c is prime95 stable and volts never go above 1.36v even under prime95 testing for extended periods of time [10+ hours]
I read that voltages of 1.4 or more will degrade the e7400 chip, should I trust the vdrop and keep pushing the o/c up to a 1.4v based off my v drop or leave it as it is based off bios voltage?
Any help would be appreciated, this cpu has done me proud so far and I'd like to get a tiny bit more out of it before I finally say goodbye.
