I'm new to all of the AMD 64 stuff and I'm not sure how to be overclocking it...

I manage to get to 12x208 and it boots into windows and its fine. I've tried 12x210 and the machine never posts and the 'insert' key thing doesnt seem to wake it back up. So I take out the battery and leave it for a minute or two.
Put the battery back in and its fine. Tried it at 12x209 and it still gives me the same problem.

What am I doing wrong and how can I get around it? Is there something I've missed? I have tried upping the voltages slightly, but to no aval...

Any other suggestions? Please help!

What mobo are you using mate?
When i had a 4600+ AM2 i got to 2.7Ghz om stock volts. Remember to reduce the htt speed to 3x and unless youve got DDR 800 ram you will need to knock that down to 533 as well ( or 400 if you have 533 RAM )

I have the Geil 800 ram which is set to auto.. Here's a pic of what CPU-Z tells me..

I have a ABit KN9 Ultra board. I think its running at 667 memory or something? I'll have a play around :)
