Here are my specs:

Intel Core 2 DUO E4300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.80GHz
Antec TruePower Trio 550W PSU
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C5 800MHz Value DDR2 Dual Channel
Kit
Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2
BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC 320MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI

I have got the processor running @ 2.7 GHz now using the following setup:

CPU 2.7GHz (300x9) 1.4500v
RAM @ 800 MHz (400x2) 2.0v (+0.2) 5-5-5-18
GPU @ 100MHz

Temps Under Load (Orthos Duel Core BETA), at one stage Puper Pi - 32M (success), rthdribl - to warm the GPU, see google

Case Average @ 45
Core 1 and 2 between 46 and 51

Temps not under load, 15 mins afer above 7 hour stress / stability tests

Case Avereage @ 40
Core1 and 2 between 30 and 32

I hope that the above are detailed enough. I just wanted to check I was doing everything correct and that the Temps / Voltages were OK. Is there so scope for improvement. My goal is 3.0GHz, acheivable?

Please leave your comments and advice,

Many Thanks,

Bluetech

edit: I have tried using Intels TAT Thermal Analysis Tool) for temps only. Why do they appear 10 degrees higher then speed fan. The same thing is apparent in CoreTemp program. Strange thing is that I have set (in bios) an alarm if the CPU's get hotter then 60 degrees C however TAT reports 61 Degrees C and the alarm dosent sound.... however if speed fan (the one stating 10 degrees lower) hists 60 the alarm sounds... weird?

A quick question.

In CPU-Z at the bottom left I notice Rated FSB 1200 MHz. Is it just me or should this read under 1066 MHz (The speed at which the DS3 range can go) or am I "overclocking" the motherboard doing this? I notice other peoples no.s are 1800MHz here with DS3's so I asume it is safe... just curious...

Any ideas?

Thanks...

Mine will get to 3Ghz at stock volts but to go over that i need a big increase. 1.4v for 3.2ghz Orthos stable for 8hours. 1.475v for 3.4ghz Orthos stable for 8hours. Boot's into windows at 3.6ghz with 1.49v but i have'nt had a chance to run Orthos yet. Been too busy playing with my new 8800GTS. :D :D :D
