Overclocking With ATITool, Help Please!

Ive been trying to get abit more out of my 7600gs for a while now, and I decided id try my hand at Overclocking today (only a little bit, dont want to dive in the deep end straight away!).

Anyway, I downloaded and installed ATITool, but it isnt detecting my graphics card. Now, ive got the latest drivers and stuff and although my pc isnt brilliant (2.6ghz P4, 512mb Ram [working on that problem ] and the GS im sure the card would benefit from a small overclock).

Anyway, does anyone know of any reason why the card might not be recognised by the program?

Perhaps because it is a Nvidia card

looks like the latest version supports some Nvidia cards though

you would be better off with the Coolbits reg mod, at least that is Nvidia related.

Okie doke, im running CoolBits now and have increased the memory clock frequency to 480mhz and the 3d clock frequency to 440mhz which are the optimal settings. Everything seems to be working fine
