Overclocking x1900xt to to xt-x

No, thats BS

Timings are the same for both cards IIRC. The difference in mem type only changes how far people can clock, 850-900 is the limit of 1.2ns when 1.1ns will do over 900.

CR.

ok whatever - funny how usually XTX's perform better at the same speeds than generaly the XT's - but you are welcome to your opinion as I am to mine , but you dont need to be rude about it

My XT has 1.1ns ram So not true that it's just on XTXs
Appologies it seems like early XT's also had the 1.1ns memory but ones purchased now usually seem to have 1.2ns

There is a god dam sticky with this EXACT QUESTION!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA *runs around screaming** AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

For the 22 billionth time:
500/600 = default clock
621/721 = defult 3D clock when a game starts

800DDR = 1.6ghz
1.45ghz = 725mhz DDR

Your clocks are correct.

To get to XT-X speeds set the core to 650 and mem to 775, or just run the automated clocking utility.

Job done.

nobody reads stickies, the only sticky i have read was the one to unlock pipes on the gto2

whats this vpu recover option thingy? tweakguides suggest to turn it off, but what do you guys set it to?

if your core gets too hot it switches itself off to prevern overheating and damage being done to the card, i suggest you keep it on, you never know 1 day your fan might fail and it will save your graphics card from exploding
