Needing help, i bought a system bundles from overclockers
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 930 Clocked to 4Gig
6GIG of VIPER MEM

In short i damaged the M\Board and needed a new M\Board
but was told by the Tech team i would have to clock the new M\Board
my self. And now i need help to reset the settings on the new
M\Board, step by step would be a great help. Thanks
 
Each overclock can vary as all chips and motherboards are different.

It might be best to google i7 930 overclocking, there are a lot of straightforward guides.

It's not normally a case of inputting a set of figures into the bios and that's it. It's mainly trial and error with lots of stability testing in between!
 
As above, it is trial and error and needs a lot of time to get a decent 4GHz overclock.

What is you full spec of the whole system?

What cooler are you using?

There are loads of guides out there and take the time to read a few of them to get a feel of how and what overclocking is. Each generation of cpus is overclocked differently so make sure you look at i7 (1366) systems.

Once you've done this then I'd recommend going into your BIOS of the new motherboard just to get a feel of the layout etc and go from there.

Try the search button on the forums too...plenty of people trying to get 4GHz.
