Hey guys, i have the settings i need to use from OCUK but on one of them it said CPU Ratio - Manual (In bios i can only choose Auto, All core, Per core)

So im kinda confused right now

I dont seem to be able to disable "Intel Turbo Boost Technology", it just skips over it when i try and get to it. In the instructions i got from OCUK they said disable it

it doesnt matter aslong as you set cpu multi to whatever overclock you want 42=4.2ghz and so on

the turbo limit shouldnt interfere

Ohh ok my main concern was that is it safe, i read some things on google about it causing problems

if the turbo wont let u disable it change the added turbo voltage to its lowest setting, i think mine is 0.004 volts

I can disable it if i dont touch CPU Ratio but if i change CPU Ratio from Auto to All core it turns Intel Turbo back on

have you a setting called additional turbo voltage. i cannot disable turbo on my mobo but with this setting can reduce the voltage turbo will apply. my mobo is an asrock to.

Its ok now, what i want to do you cannot disable it. Cheers for the help though guys

Ive run prime95 for 2hours and everything seems ok atm but ill probably run it again tonight for a few more hours. What im wondering is, is it safe to leave running while i sleep?

I'd say that's about your limit tbh if its stable. Even small increases now will probably send it over 80 which is the general safety bench mark people use. What mhz is it running at?

Maybe try dropping that a bit, mine does 4.6 for less than that.

The only reason i have it at that is because i got these settings from OCUK as i bought a overclocked bundle but the profile caused problems so i had to reset CMOS. These were from the tech section ( but even though i dont no a lot about overclocking i agree 1.320v does seem abit high)

Any recommendations on what i should aim for?
