"Ultima Osiris" Intel Core i7 920 D0 Stepping (SLBEJ) 2.66Ghz @ 4.00GHz+ Watercooled System
I got my custom built PC from here in 2009 costing close to 3k I just upgraded the ram to 24GB's https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-290-CS
It use to be over clocked but was told to put it back to default settings
This is the Overclocking settings
AI Overclocker Tuner - Manual
OC from CPU level up - auto
oc from memory level up - auto
cpu ratio setting - 21
cpu turbo power limit - enabled

bclk frequency - 191
pcie frequency - 103
dram frequency - set to lowest you can go then work up as the cpu clock is proved stable
uclk frequency - auto
qpi link data rate - auto

dram timing [set loose to 9-9-9-28 2T or something similar until finding best cpu stable clock]

epu II phase control - full phase
Load-Line calibration - enabled
cpu differential amplitude - 1000mv

extreme ov - disabled

cpu voltage control - absolute (VID)
cpu voltage - around 1.4v then work down until you find lowest stable volts
cpu pll voltage - top value in the yellow
qpi/dram core - top value in the yellow should allow you to overclock your ram a bit more
ioh voltage - auto
ioh pcie voltage auto
ich voltage - auto
ich pcie voltage - auto

dram bus voltage - 1.65v - this is very important

cpu spread spectrum - disable
pcie spread spectrum - disable
cpu clock skew - auto
ioh clock skew - auto
with the new ram support says I might be able to over clock it a bit what you think I could change that would be safe

Also I want to upgrade my monitor what you think of this one

Or can anyone point me to something better I have two of these http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-258-MS with SLI running

your amount of ram might limit you idk

can copy the above settings but personally I would set the cpu voltage to offset then try +0.0750v (makesure the first two digits are 0 so not to overvolt the cpu)

and manually set
qpi/dram core to 1.38v (might need more) 1.4v+ with that amount of ram
pcie freq is fine on 101
use an 8x memory multi = 1528mhz ram speed

enable all powersaving apart from c1e,disable that

thanks will try it
these last two things you said
use an 8x memory multi = 1528mhz ram speed

enable all powersaving apart from c1e,disable that
not sure where these are can you point them out in my above settings
