Hi all,

I’m long over due an upgrade. Last built my current pc 7 years ago. It’s still performs well but I’m at the stage where I want something new. I do some gaming, I’m not planning going next gen on consoles so want a system that could last equally log as the last one. Given what I’ve read about graphics cards and the 2080 not being worth it I’m happy to upgrade that in a yrs time. I do some virtualisation, development currently so feel I need 32gb Ram.

What should be changed in the below if anything. I’m pretty set on the case and think I have a psu but need to check the wattage. It’s certainly gold plus though.

The motherboard should I really push to an x570?

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,347.19 (includes shipping: £12.30)

Thanks all

At least MSI B450I would be better with 50% more IR3555 powerstages to share current and heat load.

But X570 boards with heavy duty VRM would certainly be best for lasting longest in heavy use, including best expandability.
And also CPU upgrades to possibly even higher core count.
(virtualisation and development tend to be hogs for cores)

But in ITX size there won't ever be much of expandability.
Did you notice that case loses 5.25" bay when using longer than single fan radiator?
