Does not matter which port it is plugged in to but currently it is in a monitor USB.Doesn't sound right to me. When I turn off the pc everything turns off including the led backlights and the overhead. You plugged into the monitor usb port?

You can turn the Mi off manually also but of course it needs to be on first.Hmm I'm sorry bud can't think of anything of the top of my head why this could be happening. There is an off on button on the quinus model. I know that's not a solution but at least you can turn it off manually?
From what you've said, it's on 24/7 though?!
I have the BenQ one (but didn't pay, so no issues around value) I have another cheaper version that I've not actually used. I have duel monitors, but it's more about just lighting the desk. Mine also turns on and off with the monitor.
