Overheating CPU

I'm no case expert but I do know that the antec is very well rated pretty much everywhere.

I don't own one so I can't say with 100% conviction, reviews are good tho.

Those two are like Chalk & cheese.
The first being some flash looking piece of crap that would boil an iceburg in minutes & the 2nd being a clockers dream that gives me wood just looking at a pic of it :p

Antec 900 for the win? (why the hell is the abreviation of for the win blocked???!!) xD

It just looked like the NXZT has LOT of fans and looks a lot like the Antec but without the 200mm fan replace by 2 140mm ones.

I can only see the enlarged pic of the flash case, It looks sealed to me & hot & gimpy & a bit Halfords.
The Antec is Pure sex of the clocking kind, It's Blatant Pc Porn.

Just had another look :o
Two dirty great big fans in the front :o + :p Hot my **** :p
**** off the lot of Ya I have just done a night shift :p
Ok then it is not hot just Gimpy & Halfords looking, That is bad enough.
Antec for the Winrar.

Lol, Antec it is. Yay for free next day delivery. Any tips for a new cooler then?

I use an AC Freezer 7 & I have modded it with a second fan strapped to the back to get some proper push pull action going :D
I do like a nice big stand up rad that you can get the air through, With these they come with a fan mounted on the front that pushes air through the rad towards the back of your system, perfect for that whole In through the front out through the back cooling environment you want inside your case. As I said I have put another fan off an old AC freezer 7 & strapped that to the back the other way around to pull even more air through, Then directly behind that fan I have an 80mm case fan to throw it out back

Is the puishpins more stable than the stock fans?

O Yer & where do you think I learn all this crap ?
Trying to fit my non stock coolers time & time again after a re fit/re apply of Tim, clean out or summit :p
I have made every single mistake in the book & have found the work around, eventually  + :p
With the 7 that fan just unclips so you can get that out the way, The rad is Massive so gets in the way & makes it all a bit awkward. Go in wonky once & bend a white bit & **** me do thigns get awkward :(
Like I said though with Mobo out it's pretty straight forward. I think with those clips the first time you use them if done right they are very easy & work perfect. Trouble comes when you are a constant tweaker like me & start refitting them a few times or if you go in wonky first time.
Nowadays I just pop the black bits off, Hold all four white bits in the clamp with my fingers & then lower the lot down onto the CPU, I use one hand to keep it all down & then pop the black bits back on one by one going round the opposite corners, I do give just a slight little twist on the assembly before fixing to smear the AS5 about.

Thats the thing with the Asus Maximus Formula mobo, there is that much cooling crap and stuff on the mobo it can take an age making sure I dont knock and bend anything while putting it in :)

Take a look at the pic of a Gigabyte P35 DQ6 some time & you'll know I know your pain. My gorgeous copper rad sat on my NB is actually touching the 7, I have to ease it over a tad to fit the 7, Making things fit/work is what it's all about for me & with them both touching they can share the load & dissipate heat together :p

Quite a few brands make identical style coolers, Akasa for one. Just make sure the one you get has Real copper base/pipes as I have seen some without the copper.

I've heard good things about that Sunbeam cooler.

I have a P5Q-E & the HSF is ****** tight in there too lol. As I said before the push pins on the Arctic freezer were a lot easier for me than the stock cooler (only used stock for a week till my Cooler was in stock again).

GL with it anyway.
