Is it me but everything you look up on Ebay flooded with Hong Kong (Chinese sellers).

I often find myself putting in within 200miles of my location to save sifting through pages and pages of cheap ripoff of everything.

It annoys me when im trying to sell a product, so i look at a few and find that the market is flooded, so i give up.

Also are you allowed to speak about "the bay" so openly, surely not? Being a competitor and all...

I think it's only of you are referring to products on there that are available on here.

I never order from Hong Kong anyway, if anything due to the postage times.

I've bought quite a few things from USA and Europe but would'nt buy anything from Asia.
Would probably be a cheap knock off a copy of some sort.

I bought a lamp for my sony rear pro tv from Japan I think it was. It was half the price & arrived in 4 days. Thats considerable quicker than some of the hopeless sellers I have dealt with in this country.

I try not to buy goods from overseas (well, outside Europe at least). However, some things can only be found in places like Hong Kong so I've had to buy from there. Though, despite my reluctance, I've always received the goods on time and haven't been disappointed.

what Chinese stuff is amazing most of the time. especially things like neon signs, laptop chargers, cables, other small electronic equipment like (gps receivers, led torches). I nearly always search the world. Save so much money that way.

Far cheaper, always arrive within what they say, never been charged fees from anywhere and I've received stuff from a lot of countrys of ebay.

It really depends on what I'm ordering to be honest. A storage hard drive? Then e.g. OcUK for fast delivery and warrenty that I know will be ok.

An MP3 player plastic cover? Then of course I looked at items from China; it'll be cheaper and more often than not they include a free gift. If you don't need things immediately it's always a good option...

I buy things from Hong Kong sellers - mainly cheap stuff that even with the high postage works out cheaper than buying from UK sellers.
Also its handy for things not yet available in the UK.
I'm using DS3 controllers on my PS3 and I have been for months - are they out in the UK yet?

i tend to buy overseas quite a lot off ebay, mostly from usa.

The items i would never trust from asia are memory cards they are all fake, they dont last long

I bought something off there last week. It said the seller was from UK, but when I got the delivery it actually came from China. God knows how I only paid £1.50 shipping.

That something was probably so cheap most of the postage cost is absorbed from the price of the item...dunno really..
