Overtaking rant

I can't say I've been particularly inconvenienced by someone overtaking me on a dual carriageway or motorway... what I really hate is people getting up my back side when I'm overtaking someone.
I don't understand why people expect me to push my <60bhp car to its limit just so they can save a few seconds
just wait until I'm past then you can do whatever you want, getting up my rear is only going to make me overtake slower, I'm not going to think to myself "Oh look he wants me to go faster ... yes, Sir, I'll do it!". I rarely go below 70mph on (safe) national speed limit'd roads, so it's not as if I'm driving like a granny either.

I've had a couple of people try. It's the ones who swerve into my path that annoy me.

If someone did that to me I'd have to try very hard not to drag them out of their car and attack them with my keyboard
Tbh, if they pull along side you to overtake and you know you can take them, then you are simply removing their need to overtake, as a friendly gesture.
Plus, you get to see if they can keep up

Also had a Prius decide to overtake and pull out, then match the speed of the car she was overtaking for the whole length of a dual section on the same bit of road aswell, after the ~1mile she pulled back in, behind the first car!!!
Needless to say My drive home today was stressfull!
Unless its a chav... because blitzing Corsas and Novas with Elephant **** exhausts is funny!
Do you honestly think accelerating when somebody has comitted themselves and is in the process of overtaking you is either big or clever?
Most of the cars I overtake wouldnt stand a chance even if they did floor it
I can't think of many things on the road that would make me more angry than someone trying to kill me. Surprised you havent had your face caved in yet if that's the kind of thing you get up to on the roads.

I only have 69bhp i think so when people accelerate, which they have done to me in my short driving career it really does annoy me! You get a chance to go for it, you pop it out, car speeds up, you cant make the overtake as the road become crowded or corners and you have to slip back behind the ****, who then proceeds on slowing back down
I feel like a nob though when i overtake and i end up at a junction or lights and the car behind me has to stop behind me. Sure im now in front of him so i can put my foot to the floor, but i just know hes probably laughing at me. Especially as i drive my mums car lol
