overview of intels next cpus?

Haswell is boring; Silvermont at 22nm in 2H 2013 and Airmont at 14nm in 1H 2015 are going to provide much more interesting benchmarks, and face much stiffer competition.

Another different socket from Intel #sigh# With new cpus comes new chipsets. It's a win/win for them but with AMDs prospects looking brighter, I wonder where Intel are heading.

BGA, low power consumption/tiny footprint except on Enthusiast/Server platforms... Skt2011 will be around till 2015 though.
 
isnt silvermont just for ultra portal laptops?

Those and tablets and smart phones; it will be interesting to see how an out-of-order, quad-core Atom built on Intel's latest process competes with ARM in the low power sector.
