Overwhelmed by Choice

Hi,

Before I worked for myself I used the old stuff from my work to build my PCs choice wasn't a problem I used what I could get. Now I as don't work there anymore I can't do that I so I will have to buy the bits for a new PC and I am overwhelmed by all the Choice. I need to keep below £500 really. I mainly use the PC for Photoshop, A little CAD (Solidworks etc) and when/if I get time a little gaming. So far I have come up with this but TBH I am sure there are better options out there I just don't know what

You will need a case and dvd drive.
Operating system too if you dont have one.

Looks like you and I are in the same boat. I have a similar amount to spend but also need a multicard reader, wireless, Screen, USB 2.0...

Not that any of this helps you at all but your thread might help me out. (not that I do any gaming)

Thanks for all the help, sorry I forget to say that I already have a case and 2 optical drives. I also don't need a HDD bigger than 500gb as I already have a second 2tb to go with it, so that gives an extra £70 to spend on other hardware.
