Just thought I'd recommend this TV series as I can't seem to find a dedicated thread for it.
I gave it a whirl on the off chance after getting fed up with Jessica Jones series 2 extremely quickly and I'm very glad I did!
I've just finished it and can't wait for the second series. It's pretty dark, and violent, and the lead actor, Jason Bateman, is great! It doesn't pull many punches...
Plot Summary shamelessly stolen from Wikipedia:
"Financial planner Marty Byrde suddenly relocates the family from Chicago to a summer resort community in the Missouri Ozarks after a money laundering scheme goes wrong, and he must pay off a debt to a Mexican drug lord.
When the Byrdes arrive, they become entangled with local criminals as well"
I would link trailers, but the ones I've seen seem to give a lot away which is no fun at all.
Give it a bash, it's only 10 episodes!
