Hi there, I have just put my system into a new P180 B. Great case really pleased. However my Foxconn Mobo has only a 2 pin header for the Case power LED. The front panel connecters for the P180 use a 3 pin spacing which I cant plug in. Is the an adapter available?

If the LED pins are on the end of your motherboard, you could always put one of the right hand wires in the middle socket if the P180 has metal contacts on all 3.

I do not know of a adapter, and you sure its the LED that is 3 pin header?

The header on the P180 is 2 wires going into a standard header with 3 holes the middle being empty. The pins 0n the mobo are right next to each other so one can make a contact but the other will only fit in the empty hole of the header.

This is more a fault of the mobo than the case as I have seen this kind of connecter on most cases. I am hoping that someone has a fix for it other than bodging bits of wire together!

Double check it is the LED and not an internal speaker (from my experience - the only connector with 3 pin plug).

The wires are easy to remove from the connector if you need to replace it with a two pin one or swap it around.
There is a little flap of plastic retaining the wire, lift it up with a needle or similar and the wire will slide out.
You could take out the wires and remove the third pin part from the connector block by cutting it off with a stanley knife.

mate u can move the pins easily on the 3 pin head. or simply cut the middle bit to make it 2 seperat pins.

Its not difficult to push the little metal tab in and pull the wire gently up. then re-inster it in the middle slot. ;)

Thanks guys, I've done exactly what you said and lifted up one of the small plastic tabs and 'Hey Presto' the pin slotted straight out and into the required slot!

Great, thanks for all your help.
