P35C overclocking - am i missing something?

Got my Q6600 G0 straight in at 3.2Ghz on above board. Disabled all the usual options in the bios and its run ok.

Tried for 3.4Ghz but when i set the FSB to 378 in the bios and i exit saving changes, when it reboots its reverted back to 356

Am i missing something as whatever FSB i set it always reverts back to 356.

I know this board and CPU are capable of 3.6Ghz as thats what the previous owner had it doing

what volts are you using i have the same board and have to use 1.45 volts or more to get to 3.6 if you have sufficient volts try upping the northbridge voltage i am at +0.2 volts this may cause a problem for you inn terms of temperatures though. mine is water cooled so i dont have a problem with temps. Also what cooler are you using and what other cooling such as case fans do you have as that quad is ganna be kicking out a lot of heat at 3.6

Got a Freezer 7 pro on the cpu and front and rear 120mm fans.

I tried 1.4v on the cpu and it posts but reverts back to 3.2Ghz for some reason

I dont suppose you could post a screenie of your bios settings?
