as for your results, i would have expected more. i can get more in 05 than you with my card @ 615/715 (yes that's the maximum it will overclock
) and my cpu at 2.75ghz. my score - 10415 with my cpu at 2.4 and the card at stock, i get 9500 odd.

There's a s939 A64 at just over 2.9g on the orb and slower graphics clocks that gets about 10800 (I can't access FM website from work
), so it could be something to do with mine only being single channel, I dunno! I'll have a fiddle after doing the stock runs and see.**edit**

Yours is better across the board, have you tried leaving it to do the CPU tests as well?

Whoa! Thanks a lot for all the info and feedback. Esp for the Kingston heads up. If what you say is true about that, then at somepoint once this issue is storted I'll start a new forum thread. Cheers for that.

Just wanted to give another shout out to the people who had to RMA their HIS x1950's due to the black screen issue. Has a replacement card fixed this problem? It's just that I posted my card off this morning and I am hopeing to get a replacement just in time for the weekend so I can carry on where I left off in F.E.A.R.. I can't belive I havent finnished that game yet.

Custom PC ram round-up, about 3 months ago. I'll look it out.

No thats with modest overclock, at standard 450/1125 score was more like 8650 iirc.
I'll run a test with it ramped up to the max at somepoint and see what i get.

Man, now thats what I call service. OcUK recived my RMA this morning and this PM they have shipped me out a replacement card already.. I just hope its a worker Results tommorrow with a bit of luck.

Thanks to OcUK for such an amazing service on the RMA. I got my replacement card yesterday and I am very happy to say that it does seem like it's a proper working version of this card. I just hope it stays like that and I'm not talking too soon.
So the card is running with the 7.1 drivers now and I ran 3dmark 05 and 06.
Results for 05: 6905
And for 06 are some screen shots.. Sorry if the quality isnt that great. I have no idea how to get the actual pictures on the page instead of having to click on the thumbnail.
For thoes of you who cant be arsed to click on the link I got a pretty damn good score of 4012.

Hi guys, i've ordered my pci-e power cable and if that fits the card I can install it.
I've never run an ATI card before, should I run the stuff off the HIS cd like it says?
I was just gonna run the 6.12 drivers what else does the card need to run?
All I know is nvidia i.e. certified drivers/forceware and coolbits, it's quite simple...
