Looking for a bit of advice from anyone who knows about these matters.

The situation is, I have worked part time for a company since 2006, contracted to do weekends only, (but have recently done a lot of overtime on other days, since my college course comming to an end)

I've now got a full time job in the field in which I want to work, after doing a week on a trial basis with them, I have not yet put my notice (will be 4 weeks) in at my part time job because I was waiting for the paper work to come through for the new job (still waiting on the contract because the person who deals with that is off on holds, but have got the letter saying its soon to follow)

Anyway, the new job have asked for a P45 if I've got one, or fill out the attached P46.

Now I'm aware that document P45 is something that you get when you leave a job, but is it at the start or finish of your notice period? and would 4/5 weeks be too long for the new job to hold on for? (I'm thinking it would be)

Now if I filled in the P46 instead, its got two options that could be relevant

B - This is now my only job, but since last 6 april I have had another job, or have received taxable Jobseekers Allowance or Incapacity Benefit, I do not receieve a state or occupional pension

C - I have another job, or recieve a state or occupational pension.

Clearly B is the best fit overall, but there will be a brief period where C will be true, question is, do I just tick B, or tick B and annotate the form etc ?

Thanks in adavnce to anyone who is able to offer any advice on this matter :)
