P5E PROBLEM

Had this set up working fine for the last 10 months or so. Started up and NOTHING!

No display, no beeps, no bios screen - just fans

I've reset the bios and taking out all the memory (got the MBO beeping that I had no memory installed) Replaced memory 1 by 1 and still nothing.

Any ideas on what I can do? Does it sound like the MBO is dead?

I also took out the GFX card but no change.

This happened to me about 3 weeks ago. Had to send it back. It was 10 months old. Been great up till then. Still dont know what happened.

Did you get a replacement? If so was it the same board or did you have to chose another?

I think they no longer make the P5E what would people choose as a replacement for use with a Q6600 and DDR 2 memory?

Asus P5Q Pro seem's to be a good board. Never had a problem with my P5E. I have used every bios as it was released, mainly due to the earlier ones being flakey. Sound's like your's is dead though.
